Entering its fifth year in operation, Homebrew for Hunger is the area’s premiere (and as far as we know, only) festival to showcase truly local beer made by homebrewers and craft breweries. It’s a beer lovers’ nirvana featuring unique flavors, varietals, and techniques. And it’s one of the only festivals where professional and novice brewers come together under one roof. Best of all, every penny raised at the event goes to a local charity dedicated to hunger relief. To date Homebrew for Hunger has raised over $35,000 for very deserving charities.

In 2016 the festival returns to Chapel Hill/Carrboro on September 4th and Charlottesville November 13th. Both events will be held in the parking lots of Fifth Season Gardening.

Homebrew for Hunger is presented by Fifth Season Gardening Co. with help and support from local sponsors.
